Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong project management expertise to lead the design, integration, and execution of end-to-end data flows in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) Technical Task Order (TTO). This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless data movement across systems, aligning technical solutions with mission objectives, and driving projects from concept through delivery with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years’ experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/AL2023)
- AWS Expertise: Proven experience managing AWS environments
- Data Flow Knowledge: Direct experience configuring and monitoring Apache Nifi or similar ETL/orchestration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructures code(Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of containerization(Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with accreditation, ATO, SSP Maintenance
- CI/CD(Git) and Jira/confluence for ticket tracking/documentation
- AWS Certified Devops Engineer-Professional, AWS Certified Cloud Ops Engineer Associate, or RHCSA Certifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (5) years of additional System Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
