Job Description:
Helping the client develop and implement data management and responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and supervising efforts and designing, developing, and updating a strategic plan, to manage data and compliance to the
related policies and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining the EIS Data Catalog, an extensible metadata platform that
provides capability to catalog data sources and products that enable end-to-end discovery, data observability, and federated governance.
Support EIS teams in the federated governance process. Ensure data products meet governance framework requirements (tagging, domain assignment, ownership, contract, automation). Identify and register EIS data sources and products not currently registered, remedy data population, validation, and quality issues. Decommission obsolete data products from the Catalog
Requirements:
(The compensation of this position starts at the lower amount of the stated salary range while higher amounts may be achieved by the candidate accepting less PTO, waiving Healthcare, or both.)

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of DBE experience w/o degree)
- 5 years’ experience as a database engineer
- Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, Including:
- deployment and management of the database itself
- debugging of optimization issues
- scaling
- Python, Django or Flask
- Desired experience:
- Python, Django or Flask
- ReST Endpoint Development
- Micro-Service Model
- Swagger
- AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
- Docker
- Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs,
- JSON and/or XML serialization
- Jira, Confluence
- Git version control
- Experience working in Agile environment
